Lately, there has been much attention paid to the developments in the medical field with regards to cancer and cancer treatments. Every where you look, people are perpetually raising cancer awareness, whether it is for childhood cancer or cancer acquired when you are an adult.

While there is no cure for all forms of cancer yet, the medical field has seen many advances in technology that have allowed for better treatment for those who have been diagnosed with cancer or are currently battling it. Now, someone who is diagnosed with the early stages of breast cancer, colon cancer or prostate cancer has a significantly better chance of not only continuing to live a fruitful life but of truly overcoming cancer once and for all.

Some people speculate that cancer is caused by a world that is filled with significantly more smog, pollution and other environmental factors. On the other hand, there are those who believe that cancer is caused strictly due to a poor diet. all the same, this has not been proven. Sure, while eating poorly may contribute to obesity and a ecumenical lack of good health, there is still no direct link claiming that a cancer diagnosis is in any way, shape or form directly linked to diet. Keeping in line with this thought of diet being a basic factor, while some diets may cause cancer, others claim that there are certain foods that are rich in antioxidants that will not only prevent cancer in the first place, but may also help to cure it!

From herbal remedies to prescription medications to altering your diet, there seems to be no end in sight to the amount of things that people truly believe are linked in some way to cancer development in humans.

It is the hope of many that we will one day find a single cure for all forms of cancer- a single pill if you will that when swallowed will supply a painless cure for cancer in a matter of minutes- not years.a
